Bachelor of Science in Nursing
This track is for first-time nursing students (college juniors and above) who want to prepare for a career in nursing while earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Upon graduation from the program, students will sit for the NCLEX licensing exam for RNs. The curriculum provides a strong scientific base of study with a diversity of clinical experiences and unique opportunities to work with vulnerable and underserved populations. The curriculum is community-based in that it supports engagement with the community throughout the nursing major by nurturing and building relationships with community agencies consistently over time through an innovative home-basing of students in a designated community for the entire length of their nursing program. The Regular Prelicensure BSN track admits one cohort of 45 students each summer term (May start) and one cohort of 45 students each fall term (August start) based on clinical groups of nine (9). Spring admission is not available for this track.

Accelerated BSN
This track is for those already holding a baccalaureate degree in another field of study who want to prepare for a career in nursing while earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The Accelerated Prelicensure track is concentrated and can be completed in 3½ consecutive semesters of full-time study. Upon graduation from the program, students will sit for the NCLEX licensing exam for RNs. This track is not designed for those who will not possess a baccalaureate degree in another field before entering. The Accelerated Prelicensure BSN track admits one cohort of 27 students each summer (May start) based on clinical groups of nine (9). Spring and fall admission are not available for this track.

RN-BSN
This track is for those who are already Registered Nurses (RNs) licensed in the state of Florida and who desire to further their nursing education and expand their career opportunities by completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Today’s healthcare arena is increasingly complex with its high-tech focus in the hospital, its shift toward population-based health care management in the community, and the increasing influence of political and economic forces on all phases of healthcare. The broad knowledge base found in a BSN provides the opportunity for RNs to gain the competencies necessary to excel in the current and future healthcare job market.

Associate in Science in Nursing
The Valencia Nursing Program was organized in 1970 with the first nursing class of 44 students admitted in September 1971. The nursing program was implemented in response to the closure of a local diploma program offered by Orange Memorial Hospital, now Orlando Regional Health Care System. The program added a Licensed Practical Nurse bridge option in the Fall of 1983. Today, Valencia's program is one of the best for preparing men and women for a nursing career, by connecting students directly to situations nurses face today. The program offers real-life lessons to help nurses build skills and confidence.
